Kristin Fisher joined CNN in 2021. She'll be CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position she is responsible for covering everything from NASA and the newly created Space Force, to commercial space companies and the advent to space tourism. Being the child and the mother of two NASA astronauts Kristin grew up in the field of space and has was a part of the space industry for five years, reporting on the Biden and Trump Space Policy of the Administration as an White House Correspondent for FOX News. During that time, she also covered two impeachment proceedings for President Trump as well as the 2020 presidential campaign, and two attempts by the administration to stop the spread of coronavirus. In addition, she traveled with President Trump and Vice President Biden often. The trip included a shady trip to Afghanistan. Kristin was a TV local reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded an Emmy Award for her work as an "one-man-band" reporter before being hired by CBS in 2015. Kristin utilized her knowledge in front of the camera to launch Field Mouse Films. The company specialized in producing documentary-style films, and became a preferred choice of corporate clients such as Uber, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Boston University. She and her husband, who is three years old, daughter reside in Washington, D.C.
